Team Day at Seaworld

Select student-athletes from the participating universities will participate in various activities such as swimming with the Beluga Whales, participating in a sit-up contest with a Pacific Walrus, and riding the Steel Eel hypercoaster!
Fans are encouraged to enjoy a day in the park with special SeaWorld San Antonio offers. SeaWorld is open from Noon – 9 p.m.

Join the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for breakfast on Wednesday, December 31st at the Grand Hyatt. Representatives from the participating Valero Alamo Bowl teams will be present. This year’s keynote speaker is former Trinity University Head Coach Jerheme Urban. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased by calling 210-764-8292.
Rudy’s Bar-B-Q Pep Rally

The Rudy’s Bar-B-Q Pep Rally is one of the most exciting events of bowl week. The head coaches, football players, pep bands and cheerleaders from competing schools show their colors as they face off in a spirited pep rally.
This is a “must see” event during bowl week that gives fans a chance to see the players and pep bands make their grand entrance on San Antonio’s famous river barges. While fans will be wearing their favorite colors, the bands from both teams will lead their respective fan bases in cheers to show their team pride. The pep bands will also participate in “battle of the bands” to see just what fan base can cheer the loudest during this fun event.
PrimeSport Kickoff Luncheon
Thursday, January 1 at Noon – Doors open at 11:30
Before the teams hit the field for the big game, everyone will come together at the PrimeSport Kickoff Luncheon. More than 1,500 spirited football fans will come to experience the anticipation and festive atmosphere surrounding the big game. Emceed by ESPN’s broadcast crew, fans will be treated to first-hand insight from the two head coaches and the team captains, as well as revel in the pageantry from the cheerleaders and bands.
Tickets are $75 per person or $750 for a table of ten. Please note seating is assigned and will be available at check-in day of the event. Additional processing fees my apply.

Valero Alamo Bowl Bash
Thursday, January 1 at 7:00 p.m.
The night before the big game, fans can celebrate Bowl Week in style at the Valero Alamo Bowl Bash. Held at the Marriott Rivercenter, guests will experience Texas-sized hospitality with five gourmet action food stations, open bars, fan interaction activities, live music and casino games with chances to win great prizes including signed team memorabilia.

Valero Alamo Bowl Fan Zone
Friday, January 2 at Noon
Before the bowl game, fans can participate in pre-game festivities in the Historic Sunset Station (one block north of the main Alamodome entrance). The Valero Alamo Bowl Fan Zone includes a variety of interactive games that encourage fan participation and challenge their football skills and agility.
Enjoy some great food and drink while you listen to music and prepare for the big game. Not only are there interactive games but you can also get your face painted or meet some animals from SeaWorld San Antonio. This event is free to the public meaning there are no excuses not to come see us on game day!
K-State Pregame Party

Enjoy a fun and relaxing meal while socializing with fellow Wildcats and sharing your purple pride! The location provides ample parking and is conveniently located within walking distance of the Alamodome. The Pregame Party is included in the Alumni Association’s travel packages; however, tickets also may be purchased separately for all K-State travelers coming to the Valero Alamo Bowl.

PrimeSport Chairman’s Club Hospitality

Located at the Historic Sunset Station just one block from the Alamodome, pregame hospitality begins at 2:45 p.m. and is open 3 hours prior to kickoff; featuring all you can eat food stations, open bar, music and more!
PrimeSport In-Stadium Hospitality
Friday, January 2; 3 p.m.
This elite party includes open bar, food presentations, game program and flat-screen TVs. The party is open pregame and reopens at halftime through the end of the third quarter. Game ticket required for early stadium access at 3 p.m.
