Tickets go on sale through the Valero Alamo Bowl website or www.ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster outlets in late summer after the renewal process for last year's buyers is completed.
Option holder tickets can be purchased on the Valero Alamo Bowl Web site each year until the teams are announced (or if an announcement is pending). The tickets sold on the bowl website prior to team announcement are "option" tickets which means the buyer has the option to renew the same seats (and upgrade when better seats are available) every year.
Based on our over 90 percent renewal rate, new option holders ordering over the summer will probably start on the goal line on the club level, near the 10 yard line on the lower level and around the 30 yard line on the upper level. By the time the teams are announced, all lower level sideline tickets will be sold. For seating options in sponsorship packages, please call (210) 704-6388.
Yes, online renewals will be available each year. Your seat locations will remain the same and you will be renewed. If you have any questions about your renewal, please call (210) 226-2695.
All game tickets ordered through the Valero Alamo Bowl by September 1 will receive a commemorative ticket that will be mailed out in early October. Please call our office at (210) 226-2695 if you do not receive game tickets by October 16. Tickets ordered through the bowl office after September 1 will be processed and mailed within 7-10 business days. For tickets ordered through Ticketmaster or the university, please refer to their policies.
Everyone entering the stadium must have a ticket.
All Option Holder tickets purchased through the bowl prior to September 1 will automatically receive souvenir tickets. These tickets will be sent directly from the ticket printer in early October. Option Holder tickets purchased after September 1 will be processed and mailed in 7 to 10 working days.
The bowl offers a package of priority seating to all the bowl events including the bowl game through a corporate membership. For more information, please see our Corporate Membership or call Rick Hill at (210) 704-6388.
Tickets are available through the Valero Alamo Bowl website or through Ticketmaster's website and outlets. Tickets can also be purchased through the Alamodome Southwest Box Office Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Bowl option holders are sent a renewal mailing which includes a request for upgrade each April. On average, the bowl ticket office is able to move 400-500 tickets to better locations. First and second year option holders who are sitting outside the 20 yard lines have the greatest chance of receiving an upgrade. Ticket holders inside the 20 yard lines on the club and lower levels will have difficulty upgrading (especially those with more than two seats) since existing ticket holders in these prime locations rarely give up their seats. However, every request is put in a file to review after the renewal deadline. Then, all the requests will try to be accommodated.
All ticket orders through the bowl office before September 1 will receive a commemorative, souvenir-style ticket. Based on the heavy demand for this year's game, the bowl will not have any commemorative tickets available for souvenirs after the game.
All official events are listed on the bowl's Fan Events page. While there are some team-only, private functions, most events are open to the public and tickets are still available for purchase.
