Valero Alamo Bowl Earns Top Ranking

The 2011 Valero Alamo Bowl has been rated as one of the most anticipated non-BCS bowl games of the season, and not just by Baylor or Husky fans.
Rod Gilmore, college football analyst for ESPN’s College Football Live, projected the December 29th matchup between Washington and Baylor to be the most entertaining non-BCS bowl of the year. While, football analyst Mel Kiper, Jr. said on Sportscenter that this year’s Valero Alamo Bowl is the one bowl he does not want to miss.
Both cited reigning Heisman winner, Robert Griffin III, to be the main reason for the excitement surrounding the Valero Alamo Bowl, especially since this could be his last outing in a Baylor uniform. But, Washington’s QB Keith Price and tailback Chris Polk weren’t overlooked as they are considered part of one of the most dynamic and underrated offenses.
This excitement has translated into ticket sales as TicketLiquidator.com has named the Valero Alamo Bowl as the #3 “Hottest Ticket” just after the BCS National Championship and the AT&T Cotton Bowl.
Only ten more days until this excitement becomes a reality, so don’t miss out on your chance to get in on the action. Limited tickets are still available at www.alamobowl.com and through the University of Washington ticket office.
