The 2012 Valero Alamo Bowl, scheduled for December 29, 2012 at 5:45 p.m., will feature the #2 team in the Big 12 and the #1 team in the Pac-12 after BCS selections.

Media projections are again wide open after #1 Kansas State and #2 Oregon got beat last weekend. On the Big 12 side, the picks range from #6 Kansas State to unranked West Virginia while UCLA and Stanford appear to be the frontrunners from the Pac-12.
