This year’s Security Service Insurance Golf Classic brought together players, partners, and community members for two enjoyable days of golf at TPC San Antonio. The event on November 18 and 19 offered the perfect mix of great weather, good company, and plenty of time on the course, giving participants chances to connect while supporting a meaningful cause.
Golfers teed off on both the Oaks Course, home of the Valero Texas Open, and the Canyons Course, a local favorite known for its scenic layout. From player gifts to on-course contests and a wide selection of food and beverages, the tournament offered a lively setting where golfers could compete, socialize, and enjoy the day together.
This year’s tournament included 78 companies with a total of 348 players, bringing together community leaders and business executives for friendly competition. Each golfer left with a custom Valero Alamo Bowl pullover and hat, in addition to prize opportunities that included golf accessories, Turtlebox speakers, and Oakley sunglasses. Proceeds helped strengthened the Valero Alamo Bowl’s scholarship program. In 2025, the Bowl will award more than 1.26 million dollars in scholarships to students from every participating San Antonio-area high school and four-year university.
