Week 15 of college football brings the final push toward postseason, with the last projections coming before Selection Sunday.
BYU continued its impressive run this season, posting an 11-1 record heading into the Edward Jones Big 12 Championship Game against Texas Tech. True freshman Bear Bachmeier has thrown for 2,304 yards and rushed for 525 yards, accounting for 24 total touchdowns, while LJ Martin, the Valero Alamo Bowl’s 2024 Offensive MVP, leads the Big 12 in rushing yards. The Cougars will face Texas Tech at AT&T Stadium on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. CT on ABC, with a Big 12 title potentially securing their spot in the College Football Playoff.
USC capped off the regular season with a 29-10 victory over UCLA, powered by King Miller’s 124 rushing yards and two touchdowns and Makai Lemon’s clutch 32-yard TD reception. The Trojans finished 9-3 and will look to secure an upper-tier bowl game to close out the season under head coach Lincoln Riley.
Houston rebounded to finish the regular season 9-3 after a 31-24 win at Baylor. Junior quarterback Conner Weigman threw for 201 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 121 yards and two scores. The Cougars, ranked #21 in the College Football Playoff, await their bowl destination, marking their first nine-win season since 2021.
