Valero Alamo Bowl Week 7 Projections

Week 7 bowl projections feature several teams building momentum and positioning themselves for strong postseason opportunities. USC returns from their bye week to host a sold-out crowd in a ranked matchup against Michigan, with another primetime game ahead. Their previous 9 a.m. matchup against Illinois drew 4.1 million viewers, and upcoming games against ranked opponents are sure to keep national attention on the Trojans. Iowa State, after a hard-fought loss, showed resilience down the stretch and will focus on making key adjustments ahead of their trip to Boulder this weekend.

BYU remains undefeated at 5-0 and ranked #18, excelling on both offense and defense, while Arizona State, also undefeated in Big 12 play, prepares for a road matchup against Utah following a well-timed week off. Washington earned recognition in the AP Top 25 after a 24-20 comeback victory over Maryland, overcoming a 20-point deficit in the third quarter. With several teams performing at a high level and building momentum, Week 7 promises exciting matchups and a continuing battle for the postseason.
