The Valero Alamo Bowl announced 75 recipients of its 2026 Community Partners Scholarships at the PNC Pigskin Preview Luncheon on August 26, with the students collectively receiving $520,000 in scholarship awards.
Funded by the Valero Alamo Bowl and matching programs at all six of San Antonio’s four-year universities, the scholarships support college juniors and seniors at:
- Our Lady of the Lake University
- St. Mary’s University
- Texas A&M University-San Antonio
- Trinity University
- University of the Incarnate Word
- UT San Antonio

More Scholarships Coming in December
In December, the Valero Alamo Bowl will announce 102 recipients of the Valero Alamo Bowl Student-Athlete Scholarship Program, with high school seniors representing San Antonio-area public and private high schools sharing $765,000 in scholarships.
For the 2026-27 academic year, the Valero Alamo Bowl and its partners will award more than $1.28 million through its two scholarship programs to students representing every San Antonio-area high school and all six four-year universities
