Fill the Bowl presented by Texas Mutual Insurance Company continued its longstanding history of giving back to those facing hunger in the San Antonio community. Through the Valero Alamo Bowl’s partnership with the San Antonio Food Bank, 54,090 meals were provided to those in need.
“The Valero Alamo Bowl ticket exchange put over 54,000 meals on the table for our neighbors in need,” said Eric Cooper, President and CEO of the San Antonio Food Bank. “We are so grateful to Texas Mutual and the [Valero] Alamo Bowl who have joined us in the effort to fight hunger.”
Fans had the opportunity to donate $30 or 30 items off the 12 Most Wanted List to receive two (2) tickets to the Valero Alamo Bowl. The San Antonio Food Bank collected all donations and over 400 tickets were distributed.
