When is this year’s Valero Alamo Bowl?
Unfortunately, we don’t know yet.
In a typical year, the complete post-season college football lineups are announced shortly after the release of the NFL schedule. But this is not a normal year.
And while everyone wants to get back to the new normal as soon as possible, now is the time to support those who need the most help.
That is why the Valero Alamo Bowl underwrote 100% of the groceries that were distributed to 8,000 individuals by the San Antonio Food Bank at Alamodome on May 1. We look forward to continuing to help our community through this pandemic.
Later this summer we will confirm our game date and our plans to work with state and local officials on how to best provide a healthy and safe environment for our participating universities and supporters.
As for other Summer activities on our calendar, here are a couple of updates:
- The Shining Star ENERGY Youth Football camp has been postponed to next July.
- Annually, we go on sale with tickets to the general public at the start of the college football season in conjunction with our Rudy’s Bar-B-Q Pigskin Preview Luncheon (currently scheduled for August 27). Our hope is tp have news to share about our onsale date and popular luncheon by early August.
Thank you for your continued patience as our nation works together during this challenging time. We look forward to the return of a college football season that kicks off this Fall and culminates in San Antonio with another memorable Valero Alamo Bowl.
