Transportation

For the latest and most up-to-date parking and transportation updates, fans can visit alamobowl.com.

Fans can expect heavy traffic around the Alamodome 3 hours prior to kickoff and until 30 minutes after kickoff.

Park and Ride

One of the easiest ways to get to the game is VIA’s Park and Ride service, which drops fans off at the Alamodome’s front door (North door). Service starts three hours prior to kickoff and the round-trip fare is only $5. Also dropping off at the front door of the Alamodome is VIA’s PRIMO service, which makes stops throughout downtown. The PRIMO fare is $1.30 each way. For more information, check out VIA online at viainfo.net

Ride Share

Fans can utilize ride share to arrive and depart the Alamodome in Lot A. First time Uber riders can use promo code SHAMROCKSERIES to receive a free ride up to $20 off. Already an Uber rider? Don’t forget to share this promo code with others so that they can enjoy a ride around town!

Alamodome Parking

Parking at the Alamodome is available through pre-purchased permits. Parking permits allow fans to tailgate within their allotted space starting at 8 a.m. on game day. Permits can be purchased: alamobowl.com/tickets

If you have already purchased a parking pass, click here to view arrival and departure maps. RV’s, buses and oversized vehicles will be required to display a parking permit for each occupied space.

The lots open at 8 a.m. on game day for tailgating with Lot B hosting Tailgate Town. Tailgating is restricted to the space in front or rear of your vehicle. Do not obstruct the driving lane or bring glass containers. A fire extinguisher must accompany each group using a cooking appliance and a person knowledgeable in its operation must attend to cooking appliances when hot. Fire extinguishers are required if an open flame is used.

No solicitation, selling or marketing of any kind is allowed. While alcoholic beverages are permitted, glass containers are not.

For other parking options, fans are encouraged to utilize the parking garages and surface lots in downtown San Antonio. Instead of driving to the Alamodome and working back toward these available lots, fans will experience less congestion by going directly to one of the downtown lots.
