Meet our new events and operations intern, Alyssa Bailey! A graduate of Texas A&M, Alyssa spent last Bowl Week on the Valero Alamo Bowl Street Team.

What is your Alma Mater? What is your Degree in?
Texas A&M University (WHOOP!). I have a Bachelor’s of Arts in Telecommunication Media Studies with minors in Art, Creative Studies, and Spanish.
What is your position with the Valero Alamo Bowl and what will you get to do?
Events & Operations intern. I will organize volunteers, coordinate events, and help organize team selection travel.
What part of the internship are you most excited for?
I’m really excited to work with the volunteers and have the opportunity to get to know each of them on an individual level. I’m also looking forward to seeing all of the awesome events!
What are your hobbies?
Photography, Music, Graphic Design, Netflix, Concerts, All things Aggie, and Yoga!
What is your favorite birthday memory?
My little sister Ashlyn was born on my 10th birthday… but on my 7th birthday my mom got me an Oreo pie instead of cake. It was so awesome.
What was your favorite Street Team memory?
When players from Kansas State and UCLA danced together at Team Fiesta.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
My dream job is to be the Director of Marketing for Aggie Athletics, but I’d also love to work in any fast paced environment that will continually challenge me.
