In addition to networking and complimentary hospitality, guests will enjoy watching ESPN’s release of the final regular season CFP Poll. Then guests will get the insider scoop from Bowl President/CEO Derrick Fox’s commentary on how that affects the teams in the mix for the top bowls including San Antonio.

Security Service Insurance Golf Classic
The Club at Sonterra Thursday, December 12; Noon Shotgun
The Security Service Insurance Golf Classic is one of San Antonio’s most anticipated golf tournaments of the year. Held on December 12 at The Club at Sonterra, the tournament features a press conference with the head football coaches from the participating universities. Among the 250 annual participants are community leaders and business executives taking advantage of a day of fun, prizes, unlimited food and drink as well as networking opportunities.

Rudy’s Bar-B-Q Pep Rally

The Rudy’s Bar-B-Q Pep Rally is one of the most exciting events of bowl week. The head coaches, football players, pep bands and cheerleaders from both teams show their colors as they face off in a spirited pep rally.
This is a “must see” event during bowl week that gives fans a chance to see the players and pep bands make their grand entrance on San Antonio’s famous river barges. While fans will be wearing their favorite colors, the bands from both schools will lead their respective fan bases in cheers to show their team pride. The pep bands will also participate in “battle of the bands” to see just what fan base can cheer the loudest during this fun event.
PrimeSport Kickoff Luncheon
Stars at Night Ballroom, Convention Center Monday, December 30; Doors Open at 11:30 a.m., Luncheon begins at Noon
Before the Big 12 and Pac-12 teams playing in the Valero Alamo Bowl hit the field, everyone will come together at the PrimeSport Kickoff Luncheon. More than 1,500 spirited football fans will come to experience the anticipation and festive atmosphere surrounding the big game. Emceed by ESPN’s broadcast crew, fans will be treated to first-hand insight from the teams’ head coaches and the team captains of each school, as well as revel in the pageantry from the cheerleaders and bands.
Valero Alamo Bowl Bash
Stars at Night Ballroom, Convention Center Monday, December 30 at 7 p.m.
The night before the big game, fans can celebrate Bowl Week in style at the Valero Alamo Bowl Bash. Held in the Stars at Night Ballroom at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center guests will experience Texas-sized hospitality with five gourmet action food stations, open bars, fan interaction activities, live music and casino games with chances to win great prizes including signed team memorabilia.
Tailgate Town presented by Kiolbassa Smoked Meats
Alamodome Parking Lot B Tuesday, December 31 at 10 a.m.
Everything in Texas is bigger including the festivities in Tailgate Town presented by Kiolbassa. The Alamodome parking lots open at 10 a.m. to anyone who has a pre-purchased pass, but the die hard tailgaters all gravitate to Lot B of the Alamodome.
Purchase 25+ game tickets of your choosing (prices range from $40-$250 per ticket depending on location and date of commitment). You will receive a reserved Tailgate Town parking space (most slots are 22’ by 36’) at the Alamodome as well as a 10 pound box of Kiolbassa sausage while supplies last. This is perfect option for the group that wants to maximize their game day experience by starting it with a memorable tailgate.
For smaller groups or ones who already have game tickets, the reserved Tailgate Town parking slots range in price from $225 – $375.
As a special bonus, tailgaters can watch one of Texas’ best New Year’s Eve fireworks displays from the parking lot post-game.

Valero Alamo Bowl Fan Zone

Before the bowl game, fans can participate in pregame festivities in the Historic Sunset Station (one block North of the main Alamodome entrance). The Valero Alamo Bowl Fan Zone includes a variety of interactive games that encourage fan participation and challenge their football skills and agility.
Enjoy some great food and drink while you listen to music and prepare for the big game. Not only are there interactive games but you can also get your face painted as well as get your official game program and merchandise. This event is free to the public meaning there are no excuses not to come see us on game day!
PRIMESPORT Chairman’s Club Pregame Hospitality

Located at the Historic Sunset Station just one block from the Alamodome, pregame hospitality from 3 – 6 p.m. hours prior to kickoff; featuring all you can eat food stations, open bar, music and more!
Gold’s Gym Gridiron Club
Alamodome Tuesday, December 31
The Gold’s Gym Gridiron Club is an in-stadium area on the filed level in the North end zone. The Club is open pregame through midnight and includes TVs, a DJ, tailgate gates, bars and food stations.
Within the Club there is availability to reserve spaces for both small and large groups and an opportunity to add wristbands (which provide access and one complimentary drink) to their ticket purchase. Valero Alamo Bowl Post-Game Party
Alamodome - North Plaza Tuesday, December 31; 10 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.
An early kickoff means fans can enjoy an amazing fireworks display from the Alamodome’s north plaza because next door at Hemisfair is Celebrate San Antonio, one of the biggest New Year’s Eve celebrations in Texas.
As a result, this year the Alamodome will stay open until 12:30 a.m. so fans can watch the fireworks light up the sky against the Tower of Americas backdrop. Fans will enjoy food trucks, a DJ and access to Alamodome where live footage of the post-game press conferences will be featured on the video walls and concessions and restrooms will remain open as we countdown until midnight.
For those wanting a more private experience, the Valero Alamo Bowl post-game party in the Gold’s Gym Gridiron Club will begin when the final buzzer sounds at the end of another exciting Valero Alamo Bowl.
Accessible through the escalator by Section 101 at the North main entrance, this field level club includes TVs, seating, a DJ, games, bars and concessions. It will stay open until midnight to toast the start of 2020 when fans can go upstairs to the Alamodome’s north plaza and enjoy one of Texas’ largest fireworks shows.
Entrance to the party is included with Gridiron Club wristbands. Bowl ticket buyers can be added to the post-game pass list at no charge as supplies last by RSVPing with their seat location here.
To accommodate fans staying for all of the pre- and postgame festivities, VIA Park & Ride Service will run a $5 round-trip service from Crossroads, Blossom Athletic Center (Comalander Stadium) and Madla to the Alamdodome’s north plaza from 3:30 p.m. through 12:30 a.m. with a special last call departure from the Alamodome at 12:45 a.m.
Additionally, the rideshare drop-off and pickup lot is 100 yards from the north plaza at end of the pedestrian walkway at the corner of Montana and Tower of Americas and the onsite Alamodome lots will stay open until 1 a.m. for those who have pre-purchased parking passes.
