Looking for a Fall Ride?

The Valero Alamo Bowl is proud to have established longstanding relationships with many charitable organizations and cherish the mutual benefits that have come with these partnerships. The power that football has to unite people for a good cause is something the bowl continues to harness while looking for opportunities to further expand our support in the community. As of August of this year, we have been in partnership with one of the largest health related organizations, The LIVESTRONG Foundation, to help inspire and empower cancer survivors and their families alike.

The annual Team LIVESTRONG Challenge Austin is a bike ride in the beautiful city of Austin, Texas and will be held on Sunday, October 19th. We have incredible fans whose unrivaled passion for football and supporting great causes make them the best around.  We encourage everyone to consider this great opportunity. Your participation or contributions will help LIVESTRONG provide free programs and services for people affected by cancer. If you wish to contribute financially, you will be helping the Bowl’s fundraising efforts led by Bryan Moynihan. He will be at the race and set up in the vendor area, so stop by and say hello!  He might even have some VAB swag to giveaway.

If you can ride, this event is open for riders of all skill levels and ages. After the ride, everyone is invited to join the post-event party with food, beer, music and visits with local vendors. Follow this link to register. There is no fundraising minimum to participate, this ride is an opportunity to make a difference and help support LIVESTRONG.

The Valero Alamo Bowl will be there so stop by and say hello!
