Sellout Crowd of 64,583 Attends AT&T Corps Classic Between Texas A&M and Army

SAN ANTONIO, SEPTEMBER 16, 2006 –The AT&T Corps Classic featuring Texas A&M vs. Army drew a sellout crowd of 64,583 to the Alamodome today. The attendance is a record-setting mark for a regular season college football game at the Alamodome and ranks as the eighth largest sports crowd in Alamodome history. The AT&T Corps Classic is the first in a ?home and home? series between the teams, with the second game scheduled in College Station in 2008. The game was Army?s home game and their first game in San Antonio. Texas A&M has five Alamodome appearances (two regular season games, two Alamo Bowls and one Big 12 Championship) of which only their regular season match-up against SMU in 1994 did not sell out.
