Media and Communications

Lindsey joined the team in August 2025 after earning her Master of Arts in Professional Communication from Youngstown State University. She previously completed her Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications – Sports Broadcasting with a minor in Sports Information from YSU in May 2024. In her role, Lindsey supports the bowl’s communications and digital media efforts, contributing to social media strategy, website content, email newsletters, and game day communications.

Highlights

At YSU, Lindsey interned with the Athletic Communications department, where she created social media content, coordinated media days, and produced video features for Division I athletics. A former Division I women’s basketball player at both Duquesne University and Youngstown State, she successfully balanced her athletic career with academics, graduating with top honors. Beyond YSU, Lindsey gained professional sports experience working in youth activities for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Guardians, as well as coaching high school girls basketball.

Personal

Originally from Cleveland, Lindsey has been passionate about basketball since childhood and continues to enjoy both playing and coaching the game. Outside of work, she loves watching movies, visiting theme parks, cheering on Cleveland sports teams, and spending time with friends, family, and her three-legged dog Artie.
