Valero Alamo Bowl scholarship programs annually give over $1 million to local high school and college students. These 150+ winners are recognized at luncheons and at the game. Bowl partners can help us grow our impact while benefiting from tying into the #1 program among all 40+ bowl games and receiving exposure for their support.
The Bowl also honors and recognizes great teachers through its partnership with College Football Playoff Foundation’s Extra Yard for Teachers program.
- Dedicate a scholarship to a student(s) at a particular high school or university
- Underwrite luncheon or game tickets for scholarship winners and families to attend.
- Sponsor the Bowl’s teacher recognition efforts.
Sponsors can partner with the Bowl on our appreciation programs to salute the sacrifice military families make for our country. This includes underwriting tickets for active duty and veterans, hosting in-game hospitality, raising awareness of support services and funding sports military programs.
The Bowl has a ticket matching program for youth groups and military programs and will match any donation to bring these organizations to this year’s game. Partners receive recognition for their support through the Bowl’s social channels and at the game.

Each July, the Valero Alamo Bowl hosts a free Youth Football Clinic for youth ages 7-14. Coaches from area colleges including Incarnate Word, Trinity and UTSA will join forces with local high school coaches at the Alamodome to teach over 500 of San Antonio’s youth about sportsmanship and football.

Volunteers serve as the backbone for the 20+ events the Valero Alamo Bowl produces each year. Their efforts are recognized at a party late each January with casino games and awards. Sponsors can receive recognition at this party as well as in their monthly newsletter as well as the volunteer merchandise they wear at events.
